Part II of SHAMELESS GUY CANDY!

Ya gotta love a guy who can pull off tight jeans...um...I mean pulling them off as in wearing them with flair and panache. Here we have Gerard Butler. Whether melting our hearts in DEAR FRANKIE, leading his troops to glory as the king of Sparta in "300" or making us ask, "Raoul Who?" in PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, Gerard is definitely swoon-worthy material. And did I mention the best news of all? He's Scottish!

And one never tires of the ubiquitous gray t-shirt, does one? Especially when stretched over Hugh Jackman's impressive pecs and arms. What can I say? Hugh sings. He dances. And he growls beautifully as Wolverine in the X-MEN movies. And he's Australian!
Daniel Craig reinvigorated the James Bond franchise in CASINO ROYALE by reminding us that Bond was once mad, bad, and dangerous to know. Watching him lose his heart was a joy and I can promise you that if I'd have written the script, there would have been many delicious confrontations and an entirely different outcome following his discovery of her betrayal.

When twolilhahas requested a picture of Markus Schenkenberg, my first thought was, "Who?" But a quick Google search told me she had exquisite taste in male models. There were plenty of shirtless pics but I rather liked this one.

There's no question that Jude Law is a VERY pretty man but I sort of liked him "roughed up" as Inman in COLD MOUNTAIN. (Another movie I'd have written a different ending for.)

I first fell in love with Josh Lucas in SWEET HOME ALABAMA. He has that affable boy-next-door Southern charm coupled with that dangerous glitter in his steely blue eyes. He reminded me of the boy you'd fall for in high school--you know--the one who actually knew what to do with a carburetor and who actually looked sexy with grease under his fingernails?

And my other favorite Southern Josh is Josh Holloway who plays the incomparable Sawyer from LOST. He may be a bad boy but he's a real fine man!
Well, that's it for today, ladies! I'm signing off to go work hard on my book. You may not hear much from me in the next week or so but at least I've left you something pretty to enjoy ;)

    Geez Teresa,

I miss checking your blog for a couple of days and look what I missed. I am 100% behind you with Russell - he is the reigning champion of all those other lucious men. However, we must not forget Richard Armitage - the oh so yummy star of North and South. He rivals Colin Firth as Darcy in the most desirable hero in a period drama catagory. And John Thornton is much more tortured than Darcy which makes him oh so appealing.

Thanks for the Guy Candy, Teresa!
What a wonderful start to the first day of summer.

A big huzzah for Richard Armitage, Beth! He's the only reason I'm watching the new ROBIN HOOD on BBC America. If I were Marian, I'd dump Robin in a heartbeat for the complex Guy.

    Verra nice! Verra verra nice!

I can't wait until we get BBC America! I'm missing so much!

Thank you, Teresa! Glad you found Markus up to your standards. lol He's just hot, imho. They're all so gorgeous.

I keep thinking about some highland ruins and lovemaking! I can't wait to see what you're thinking about them. haha

Teresa, you outdid yourself this time, and you summed up perfectly Josh Lucas' appeal in SHA, where I too fell madly in love him. *swoons* Charming, but dangerous.

And yes, Jonas Armstrong (Robin in the series) is cute, but he doesn't compare with Richard's tortured character. Sign me up for some Guy.

    Sigh...very nice! Thank you!

And I'm with you on the different ending for Cold Mountain. I'd much prefer a Teresa ending. :) He was mighty fine in that movie, I have to agree.

I wish I was that little teeny tie around Daniel Craig's waist.

    I'm just saying ...

    Teresa,

I'm just sooo glad that you decided to continue blogging on your own. I positively agree with you on everything to do with eye candy.

Can you imagine that I didn't know who Gerard Butler was until you introduced me to him? If only it could have been in person!!

Congratulations on the addition to the family!

Oh Teresa, it's not just a bunch of sexy men, but a great SELECTION of sexy men. Your taste is impeccable.

I'm with you, btw, on Richard Armitage. YUM!!!

    Great bloggage, m'dear!

Finally I think I will be able to leave a comment. It has taken me FOREVER to get it on here.

Love the pictures! What beautiful men...I also fell in love with Josh Lucas in Sweet Home Alabama...what a sexy man!

What a great way for me to end my day!

I am really enjoying these eye candy blogs. I completely agree with your assessment of Josh Lucas. I fell hard for him myself when I first saw him in Sweet Home Alabama. So Hot!

I this is days later but I could have sworn I saw Hugh Jackman on a commercial for a new show this Fall. Of course, I can't remember the name of the fool show because I was too busy checking out this guy who looks, smirks, and sounds just like Hugh!!

I gotta email Karen Hawkins. If anyone would know, she would!

    twolilhahas said...

All these Hughs. I really love Hugh Dancy, too. And I've just recently come to really like Hugh Grant. I watched him in Music & Lyrics. He was cool.

I really enjoyed the eye candy, but how can I concentrate on my writing now when all I can think about is those fine looking men? Curse you Teresa! lol. Just kidding.

And yes, if I were Marian I'd set aside Robin, for the more complex, compelling Richard Armitage. Teresa, have you seen him in North and Sotuh? He's fantastic, and a good kisser too. lol.

    Santa,
Just popping in from desperate deadline mania to say that WAS Hugh Jackman in that fall preview! I know because I kept insisting it wasn't and my husband kept insisting it was and he finally IMDB'd me and proved it was Hugh! So don't get in an argument with anyone about it ;)

I'm guessing it's just some sort of cameo guest appearance. Surely Hugh wouldn't be doing TV on a regular basis, would he?

I'm sorry, but I couldn't resist linking to this. It fits nicely with this blog, I think.

Better open in new window, though.

Russell Crowe Alert! Russell Crowe Alert!

He's on 60 minutes tonight (Sunday). I'd email but I can't send out mail right now! Grrrr....

    Hey, I sound like Russell!

    Ducking and running,
    Santa

That's so weird, San ... last night i had a dream about Russell in his tidy whities (with M and C ponytail).

He said it was for a commercial he did before getting famous.

Sadly, I'm not kidding about this. I woke up disturbed that I was maybe thinking too much about the fabeled picture.

    J Perry Stone said...

    I mean

    TIGHTY whities.

TIGHTY! and they we're pretty tight in my dreamm too.

    twolilhahas said...

Speaking of dreams, last night I dreamed George Clooney loved me desperately, even with unshaven legs. lol In my dream, I say, "Oh dear, I haven't shaved," (while we were making out) and he says, "I love you that way." It was hilarious. But hey, the night before that I dreamed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were adopting my children and I was very upset about it.

J Perry, I think tidy whities would even be preferable to tighty whities, don't you? lol Or maybe, tidy tighty whities is preferable still!

    LOL, twolilhahas!

Darlings, there's only so much bleach in the world, if you get my drift!

I once went to a book signing by Adriana Trigiani who while introducing her DH announced that her copy of M & C had just come in the mail and, as such, would translate to her DH getting lucky. LOL, she has a thing for Russell in a period piece too!

Nice eye candy. I know I'm a little late visiting but ever since I went on summer break I don't get online like I used to. Dial up is so slow compared to my dorm internet. Can't wait for "300" on DVD. I work at a video store and we got a "300" poster. After it comes down there, it is going up in my room. Sweet dreams for me!

All excellent eye candy - but have you watched "The Tudors" on Showtime? Henry played by Jonathan Rhyn Myers is lovely but Henry Cavill as Charles Brandon,
1st Duke of Suffolk is to die for!

Thanks for including Daniel Craig! He's beautiful!
